Sometimes as the manager or leader it’s best to get out of the way. You can’t be properly involved and engaged if you are also trying to facilitate.
My work as a facilitator is to enable you to make decisions, write the strategy, generate new ideas, improve relationships or whatever it is that you and your team need to do.
Have you ever got to the end of a planning day or an away day and realised that a couple of people have barely contributed or that although a lot of talking has happened, you’ve not really reached any conclusions?
I work with you to make sure this doesn’t happen.
For me, a well-facilitated day is planned in advance with my client, is varied and enjoyable, makes sure everyone gets the opportunity to speak in an atmosphere that is safe and supportive. Objectives set in advance are not only attainable but are actually achieved by the end of the day.
I’ve facilitated for universities, charities, SMEs and cross-sector collaborations. For groups as small as 12 and as large as 200.
People say they enjoy my gentle but sometimes humorous approach and they can relax knowing that I have the timing and the organisation all in hand.
