I’ve set my goal and I did it by answering 4 questions. Maybe as you read my answers, you can think of yours.
- What’s my goal?
My goal for 2019 is to enable 10 teams to develop so much that each one is like a smooth-running machine, they enjoy working together, they know where they are going and why; they understand and trust each other, and they are achieving more than they ever could as a group of individuals.
- Why do I want to do that?
I think work should be enjoyable and fulfilling.
Improve teams and you’ll improve morale and impact.
I want to see change happen in the world
- Which teams do I want to work with?
Any team will benefit as this work reduces stress, improves worklife and is good for society. But, if you want to know my favourite teams….
I especially like to work with teams who are purpose-driven, maybe working to tackle climate change or homelessness or poverty
- What will it be like if I achieve my goal?
I’ll see change in the world and know I’ve been a part of it.
